we woke early

and got our fill of little country towns

i ran a peg doll workshop, there were bunting flags, paper kites, a creek, books tied with string, food and music

everything was pretty, the weather was perfect and at the end of the day the picnic blankets were packed away and people headed through the olive trees back home

and who doesn't like finger prints, stickers and dog smears on a window. jip and i played animal eye spy as the sun set over corn fields, yes there were corn fields too.

well that was saturday - tomorrow i will show you what the boy woke up to on sunday

it was local election week and dad ran for council so that meant i consumed four cupcakes as i stood near the cupcake stand at the primary school and handed out how to vote cards

jip had cross country today and he wanted 'rocket shoes' we were looking up shoes on the internet and i found these ones

the tea pot even put a jumper on

i'm still at an age where i think drinking tea with friends is very mature - so sunday morning i had tea
